What’s your Fashion?

I wanted to share an excellent store which I found while enjoying my Spring Break in Arizona. I heard a lot about the Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale Arizona. While in the mall, I came across the Electric Lady Land store.

Electric lady land

The store was very bright and definitely knew the latest in the world of fashion. Apothia Fragrances, Disney Couture, Kenneth Jay Lane Jewelry, Stelle, Z-brand among others definitely stood out. In other words they carried everything chic from Diamonds to T-Shirts to dresses to Handbags.

The store is the brainchild of Penny Long and her son. What started off as a boutique chain expanded into this store at the Scottsdale Fashion Square. They also have another store at the Chandler Fashion Square and four other stores. It immediately turned into a huge hit. Never have people seen so many celebrity endorsed brands under one roof. The store mainly stands out because of its Hollywood style sass and sophistication.

The stores are open from 10 am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday and 11 am to 6pm on Sundays. If are in and around the Scottsdale area in Arizona, definitely pop in here and have fun at this souped out chic boutique

I have never been treated so horribly in all of my life. 1st, your immediately sized up and measured by each employee (does she have $$$, will she spend $$$, etc…) They all act like snobs as though they are better than you. Also when I walked in the store, one was playing with the music so loud and dancing around ridiculously while the other two were on their cell phones. One making plans for the weekend and the other…well, it sounded as though she was being dumped by someone. Pleading to work this out. I needed a particular size and asked one of the girls while dancing since she wasn’t on the phone…she didn’t give any eye contact and she held one finger up saying “one minute” I’ll be with you in a moment and she disappeared to the back. So, I decided to ask one of the gals on the phone, she rudely “sighed” and said it’ll be just a quick minute k? I waited exactly 9 minutes. Exactly…It doesn’t seem like a long time but it is when you are in a rush to get your kids. Then, when she finally finished her call (meanwhile the other two - one was still begging and pleading on the phone and the other I swear vanished!) she said now what do you want? I need an extra small then she said nope whatevers out is out and every damn thing I opened to look at she folded right behind me. I had 2 hats, 1 belt and 3 jeans and a peice of jewelry marked at $595.00 I wanted. I turned to her, handed her the stuff and walked out! I will never shop here again. Never! I’ve only lived here for 2 months and for a 1st time experience, that is horrible. Then 2 days later I went to the gym, only to over hear a conversation in the dressing room how rude a particular girl was at Excetera Ladyland. Doesn’t seem to have a reputation. And clean up your store, it is soooooooooooooooo cluttered you can seem a damn thing. Oh, don’t forget to get new staff too.

Got something to say?
