AskStudent crosses 300,000 Unique Visitors

When AskStudent passed 200,000 unique visitors in 56 days, me and the rest of the editors here were very happy with the rate of our growth. At that point we felt that even if we matched the 56 days +/- 10 days to achieve the next 100,000 visitors, we would be happy.

I am happy to report today that we achieved the 300,000 unique visitor mark in 47 days.

Some Statistics in the last 47 days from June 24 to August 10th 2007

1. Number of visitors to AskStudent: 102,110

2. Number of pageviews: 168,865

3. Most popular Operating System : Windows 89%

4. Most popular browsers used by visitors to AskStudent:

I am happy to report that for the first time in our history, Firefox users top the list with almost 50% of the total users using Firefox. Internet Explorer with 44.76%, Safari with 2.86%, Opera with 1.40% and Mozilla with 0.43% round out the top 5 browsers

5. Most of our visitors naturally come from United States where AskStudent is based out of where almost 60% of the visitors come from the United States. United Kingdom with 9.2%, Canada with 7.43%, Australia with 2.8% and India with 2.7% round out the top 5 countries.
