Periodic Spiral table
Nearly 140 years after the periodic (Mendeleev) table is introduced, new elements are still being discovered. Numerous redesigns of the table have been proposed, some of which suggest arranging it in triangles, others diamonds, spirals, parallel planes and even 3D models. But none have gained the popularity of the traditional table.
This design below relies on a spiral design, created by Jeff Moran of Woodstock, N.Y, tries to illustrate the hydrogen’s relationship between elements and to group lanthanons and actinons and serves as the basics of an interactive web based program that allows users to explore the elements and their interplay. You can download this web based program available from periodicspiral here.
