Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows leaked
Four days before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits bookstores worldwide on the midnight of July 21, It turns out that someone with access to the American edition of the book has taken a photograph of every one of the pages and made them available via bittorrent. Publishers may well be quaking in their boots, but in some places the quality is barely legible. On many pages the pirateer’s hands are in the pictures with other pages needing a bit of Photoshopping just to make out the words. It appears many of the sites have been removing the content, naturally enough.”

Even I could get a copy of the leaked Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from the internet site Pirate Bay. The book is available in PDF format. All you need to do is go to Pirate Bay or any other torrent sites on the internet and tpe in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for you to get a copy of the much anticipated book from the stables of J.K Rowling.
The PDF is not the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows but photographs of the pages of the book. What this means i that the contents are not at all clear and you could not make out a single letter on some of the pages.
So, how did the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows get leaked?
That the million dollar question on every one minds. Whoever it is was pretty influential or worked in a ublishing house. All you can make out is that the person is white and you get to see an occasional glimpse of his brown shoe.
Some of us here at AskStudent are speculating that this whole leak is intentional where some PR folks take pics, deliberately making most of them (all the really interesting/important parts) illegible, put it on every torrent site from here to Des Moines, and build a little more hype for the big release at midnight on the 21st.

The spoiler attack against Harry Potter is being orchestrated by 420chan.org. They are a sick, deranged group of internet criminals. They have harassed me in the past by ordering pizzas and putting up a homosexual ad in my name. I am giving you this information in the hopes that it will help you stop their attacks.

They are launching a general assault against Harry Potter and are trying to spoil the story for everyone in the world.
The best way to fight back is to report them so that they get shut down. The following is their hosting information. If enough people complain, they will be taken offline.
The main site is 420chan.org, and it is hosted at 69.65.40.202 by Coloquest.
By posting scans of the book, they are in violation of the AUP which prohibits:
“transmission of any data or material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, or other intellectual property right without proper authorization”.

Eventhough the board is not hosted at coloquest, they are still directly linking to it and they are part of the same website. Thus, there are grounds for a complaint to get them taken off their server.

Actually on second thoughts… I will hold my horses for 2 more days, maybe stand in line at Borders or B&N. My advice for ppl buying the book is try to find a borders or B&N store that might not exactly be located in prime spots. U can avoid the line atleast that way.

Do you think it could be a publicity stunt, since it is only the first third of the book? It sounds like a conspiracy theory I know, but you can’t deny this will bolster sales. People still have to buy the book to get the ending. More people might since it is treated as such a valuable secret.
