Best Place to Work for College Graduates
For College students who are approaching graduation time and looking for the best places to work, look no further, Google is here. The darling of the Internet is the most sought after best place to work for College graduates.
Google’s headquarters is located in Mountain View, California. Google is renowned for their awesome work place. While not all Google offices around the globe are equally well-stocked, these are some of the essential elements that define a Google workspace:
* Lobby Décor – Piano, lava lamps, and live projection of current search queries from around the world.

* Hallway Décor – Bicycles and large rubber exercise balls on the floors, press clippings from around the world posted on bulletin boards everywhere. Many Googlers standing around discussing arcane IP addressing issues and how to build a better spam filter.

* Googler Offices – Googlers work in high density clusters remarkably reflective of our server setup, with three or four staffers sharing spaces with couches and dogs. This improves information flow and saves on heating bills.

* Meeting – Most Googlers have high powered Linux OS workstations on their desktops. In Google’s earliest days, desks were wooden doors mounted on two sawhorses. Some of these are still in use within the engineering group.

* Recreation Facilities – Workout room with weights and rowing machine, locker rooms, washers and dryers, massage room, assorted video games, Foosball, baby grand piano, pool table, ping pong, roller hockey twice a week in the parking lot.

* Google Café – Healthy lunches and dinners for all staff. Stations include “Charlie’s Grill,” “Back to Albuquerque,” “East Meets West” and “Vegheads.” Outdoor seating for sunshine daydreaming. Googlers get free food in 11 different cafeterias throughout the Googleplex.

* Snack Rooms – Bins packed with various cereals, gummi bears, M&Ms, toffee, licorice, cashew nuts, yogurt, carrots, fresh fruit and other snacks. Dozens of different drinks including fresh juice, soda and make-your-own cappuccino.
* Quiet Rooms – Need to catch up with some Zzzz. The Quiet Rooms are here.

How do I get to work for Google?
Sweet. Google Rocks!!
I’m indian (chennai) . Would like to know is there any google office to work there? If yes, details pls.
What a bunch of pussies! I’d love to see them get pulled out of their “QUIET ROOM” and have a shovel put in their hands for a day paving an interstate somewhere! HAHAHAHAHAH!
Good for them!
They will be soo hurt when google hires indians with “high school computer science” degrees to replace them…
I wish we had a tenth of that.
Should rename article to “Best Place to Work for College Graduates in California”

Just because you’re not intelligent enough to get a job where you don’t have to do manual labor doesn’t mean anything. Enjoy your narrow mind.
Those pictures are obviously staged. Just look at the one where they appear to be playing Guitar Hero. If you look at the screen on the wall its just the Xbox Home screen. Epic Fail

Because you know, all models, tabloid pictures, magazines, product placement — are all spontaneous.
Good job.
I work for Microsoft and Google is definitely at the top of my list. I know it will not only be a job switch or a career switch, but a lifestyle switch and change. Google is truly amazing.
Now that’s what we call a working place.
Wish we could go back and hang our job up the nail.
Switching from tail to head.
Google really did a good job, no wonder it’s a number one Company.
Well done Google I say,

It’s a dream come true for most people..
It’s a dream come true for these people.. and still a dream for people like me..
Too bad im a programming guy not a web guy. And I prefer native code over interpreted such as Java. o well i guess id never get a job there but looks cool
stop repost google pictures.
Да уж Какой кошмар!
I love the irony of the “Googlers” playing Microsoft’s XBox. And the guy doing laps in the hot tub is great too.
just to mention it – the pictures appear to be from google europe headquaters in zuerich, switzerland – not from mountain view, california – except if the place in switzerland is an exact copy, which i really doubt… i’ve been there for a visit 2 month ago, and it did look like i nice place to work indeed
plus the free meal at the restaurant was delicious!
“the guy doing laps in the hot tub is great too.”
thats an exercise pool genius
THIS IS SO FKING GAY!!!!!!!! DO NOT WORK FOR FAGS!!!!!!
cooll
Look at the guitar picture, so absolutely posed! There’s nothing going on on the screen! It’s the Xbox dashboard!
Google is turning into Yahoo! Doom approaches.
What a great place… i guess it’s work hard play hard…
lies and propaganda fuck it.
Flipnkraut and the other guitar hero morons:
Look closely in the picture for dual fretboards on another screen.
They are playing guitar hero, on the second screen in the background!!!!!!!!
The screen you see is being used by the people sitting down with wireless xbox controllers in their hands. If you are going to make retarded statements, talk to someone who cares, like your state health board.
Looks like a huge makup

Good job!

wow i wish i to work in office like one
Great pictures, just more motivation to become property of the big G.
google is the coolest
how many people was it that they just layoffed again?
Yeah sure it looks great to work there…
But I can’t imagine you’re not allowed to go into work at 9am, do a little bit of programming, have a sleep, go to the gym, have lunch, do a little more web design, play guitar hero then go home at 5pm.
You probably end up living there and having no life outside of work, which is well… bad.
too nice isn’t nice anymore
Did the admin even look at this post? The images sizes are too big for the layout..
Yeah… sounds like a live-in job to me. That place looks like an oversized playground for adolescents. Obviously they know what they’re doing though- I mean it is Google, and they’re still kicking ass.
Definitely not for me though.
nice, maybe ill apply
The sad thing is that even small companies, especially small software development companies could easily implement this. The reason why I do not spend more time at the office, is simply because it is uncomfortable. I will NOT work overtime, even if they pay me for it, is because there is nowhere I can go and chill for an hour between my normal work hours and my late hours.
Even something stupid like a punching bag and a foosball machine in a semi decent “cafeteria” area at work would garner a whole lot more employee loyalty, and discourage people hopping from company to company. I recently calculated that it would cost the company I work for less than $7 dollars a day (per person) to provide soft drinks, lunch (a luxury sandwich), breakfeast cereal, coffee and small snacks like scones, to all the people working here.
But after all the kick ass management courses and years of business experience, owners and managers just cannot get that into their highly intelligent heads.
According to these pictures, Google apparently doesn’t hire fat people. Or black people for that matter.
